Those 3 swans were seen by me on the Lagomar Community lake around Wednesday of last week, they were acting similar to wild birds and John Boyd also reported seeing them around that time in Hammocks, so these might be some rare migrants Mute Swans, as opposed to the ones normally seen in private collections.
I'd imagine they were released into a lake and just travel to surrounding lakes. I doubt these birds would have flown down from up north.
Those are probably the 3 swans that are in the lake on 64th st & 157th Ave (West Kendall).
Recently we have seen 3 large white swans in our backyard lake in Pembroke Pines. I’ve lived here since 1982 and this was a first.
For the last few weeks 3 gorgeous large swans have been living in our lake in boynton beach. They are very friendly and will eat out of your hand. I hope they stay. They are magnificent.
I hope those are the swans that use to live at my lake on 25th terrace in Kendall. They went missing probably year and a half to two years ago. I've always wondered if the county relocated them. These swans were beautiful creatures with beautiful hearts. I've seen the swans adopt many ducklings whose mom have passed away.
I built up a friendship with these swans over several years and then suddenly they vanished along with most of our duck population. It was weird to see everything disappear suddenly without a trace.
