In our backyard bird feeder a small bird that is rich red on its body, greyish on its head, black on its wings, and yellow on the back of its neck has captured our attention. What type of bird is this?

Sounds like a male Painted Bunting
Sounds like some kind of escaped finch or other cage bird. Doesn't quite fit for a painted bunting.
