Bird Board

What bird?

Hello!, I'm fairly new at bird watching. I live on LeJeune and Flagler and I see in front of my building what seems to be a Red Tail Hawk. However today I was in my home office which is a corner and I heard a sound similar to a duck, continuous. I peak through the curtain and I saw a large bird, like a grey ( light grey) hawk!!!!! and it flew before I was able to see more. Can you help me to id this "new neighbor" ?

Try and get a photo, that would be the best way to tell what it is. A Red-tailed Hawk in your area would not be very likely. Red-shouldered Hawk is the most common hawk in south Florida. Cooper's Hawks have been breeding in south Florida for quite some time now. That is another possibility for hawks in your area.
