While dropping my son off at school this morning I was happily surprised to see a Western Kingbird hawking insects on the premises of Coral Gables elementary. It was perching on the fence and young oaks that face Galiano street. After ruling out Tropical/Couch's and taking several photos I chastised the bird for not joining Larry'a Kingbird bonanza this past weekend. Hopefully the Sulphur-bellied will join it tomorrow.
