Upland Sandpipers and Alder Flycatchers

I had five Upland Sandpipers this morning in the area where Larry Manfredi had them these past couple days (north side of 9336; west of SW 217 Ave).

Afterwards, I walked along Aerojet Road south to the Annex. I immediately had a calling Alder Flycatcher, and I heard at least three more individuals calling from the willow thickets. A fruiting tree had my first of season Yellow-throated Vireo, and a flock of about 24 Eastern Kingbirds flew over -- all heading east.

Migration is well underway -- time to get out and enjoy!
