Three or four weeks ago while undergoing a dental procedure at the hands of the president of this august organization i mentioned(or rather mumbled, considering the effects of the anaesthesia) that I'd seen but been unable to photograph a wood duck in my neighborhood. Not to be outdone, the good Doctor(ok, endodontist) produced an iphone image of said duck, which he had seen in November, having been alerted by an ebird sighting. Attached is my iphone image of said duck, seen today, along with his muscovy friends. Seen at The Forest--on Red Road just north of(appropriately) Bird Road.
