The Glory: getting to see a Pacific Golden-Plover in Florida, and only two counties away! Great find by the way. Kudos to the discoverers.
The Pain: watching it way out in the field beyond range for a good photo. At one point it starting walking closer allowing great scope views, but never came close enough for a good photo for me. One note, if it continues in this field, the best light is in the afternoon after 4:00 or so.

How could I forget! The libation of choice for such an awesome bird is an equally awesome brew: a Founders Kentucky Bourbon Stout (KBS). This is the third highest rated beer I've had, just behind Rochefort Trappistes 10 and Bells Expedition Stout.
