One option is do some -- or a lot of -- field work for the second Breeding Bird Atlas project. During BBA I (1986-1991), 3,590 records (above the "Observed" code) were gathered in the quadrangles assigned to Miami-Dade County. During BBA II (2011-2016), 1,877 records (including many "Observed" codes) have been gathered to date.
