Twelve birders joined me for the TAS Western Cuba birding tour from February 1-8. We saw 120 species, of which 19 were Cuban endemics and another 18 were West Indian endemics. To read my trip report, click on the link below.

i really enjoyed your report. It was almost like being there again. I remember that owl popping out of the snag, wonder if it was the same place? Wish we had visited the place with all the hummingbirds. We saw our Bee Hummingbird at Maria La Gorda, the very west end of the island.

Great report Brian and obviously very well done on the trip organization, which I know from experience is no easy task. The diversity of birds and other flora and fauna there vs Florida has always been amazing to me considering it is so close to us! Maybe if we had some mountains...
