The TAS walk this morning looked like it might be a encore of last weekend's washout, but despite threatening skies we had no rain at all. Only 2 intrepid birders ignored the gray clouds and came out, but we enjoyed a nice morning's walk in the cool temperatures. The highlight was a spectacular show put on by NINE Blue-and-yellow Macaws which circled, screaming, just above and around us, for a solid 5 minutes, occasionally landing on palm trees. It's too bad everyone left their cameras home and dry!

Nothing uncommon was seen during the trip, though we did end up with 7 warbler species. A likely Yellow-throated Vireo is not included: 2 of us heard a brief scold but we could never track the bird down, and did not hear enough of it.
