Twelve birders joined me for today's TAS tour to STA-5/6 in Hendry County. Birds seen on CR 833 and CR 835, en route to STA-5/6 included Wild Turkey, Wood Stork, Bald Eagle (an adult), Crested Caracara, Pileated Woodpecker and American Crow.

Birds tallied at STA-5/6 included the following:

On our way back to Miami, Bill Boeringer and I stopped at the Broward County rest area on Alligator Alley (I-75), where we found White-crowned and Swamp Sparrow, among the 18 species seen during our brief stop.
