TAS / ASOE trip to STA-1E

Last Saturday's joint TAS/Audubon Society of the Everglades field trip to STA-1E in western Palm Beach County was a fun day for all. In addition to nearly perfect weather, we saw plenty of waterfowl (yes, Dade birders, such birds are in Florida) and other specialties of this water conservation area, including great looks at perched raptors like Snail Kite, Red-tailed Hawk, and Peregrine Falcon.

Afterwards, a few of us traveled up the road a few miles, and located the 2 Smooth-billed Anis where they had been found earlier in the week.
