TAS AD Barnes walk 10/10 - kick yourself if you missed it, part deaux

20+ birders joined TAS this morning for a morning bird walk at AD Barnes Park. The weather was great, the group was fun, and the birds were out in force! 18 species of warblers, both Summer and Scarlet Tanagers, Swainson's and Gray-cheeked Thrushes, Baltimore Oriole, Indigo and Painted Buntings, all 3 falcons…..it was a terrific walk, and even beginners got some good looks at some of the birds!

Highlights were a very uncooperative Nashville Warbler in a small tree at the pool parking area, the Gray-chheked Thrush near the boardwalk, and an early male Black-throated Green Warbler in the pinelands, and 2 Rose-breasted Grosbeaks directly overhead at the end of the main part of the walk.

If keeping count at home, that's 21 species of warblers on the two fall TAS walks at AD Barnes this year!

Great going Bill! I think you should get the trophy for walk leader of the year. The ceremony for said trophy should definitely include beer.

Congrats!
