Tall Cypress Bird Walk this Sunday

Last monthly bird walk of the season at Tall Cypress Natural Area this Sunday before I head for Maine and some wicked-good birding!. Response has been quite good, so I will probably start these up again in the fall. There isn't a big variety of birds at the moment, but there should be lots of babies around, especially the woodpeckers, along with the Great Horned Owls and at least three hawk species.
Last month, the group was able to examine a live Snake Head at close-range, courtesy of a young local angler as well as a 5 foot Rat Snake.
