WOW! This trail has become a classic example of the Patagonia Picnic Table Effect. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patagonia_picnic_table_effect)
I just heard the Towhee turning over leaves in a thicket and got a brief look. It was at the very end of the rough cut trail.
