Sparrow Field Trail TAS trip 2/27 PHOTOS

Here's a link to photos of some of the birds observed this morning on the above captioned TAS walk at the remarkably sparrow-free Sparrow Fields Trail. The highlight for me was the distant pair of swallow tailed kites that came a bit closer and engaged in mating behavior. I was fortunate enough to record some of this and with the other bird photos that were acceptable, I have deposited them in a separate album in chronological order ,on flickr. Most of the photos can be clicked on for an enlarged view--but as usual, all the raptors today were but small images in my viewfinder.. The photos can also be viewed in my photostream, in reverse chronological order.

OOPS CORRECTION got the captions on the photos right, but not in the text above---White-tailed kites they were, not swallow tails. Even I know the difference...
