Bird Board

Seasonal Sightings: Spring 2016

If you would like to report your notable Spring (March 1 - May 31) bird sightings from Southeast Florida (Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach) for possible inclusion in _Florida Field Naturalist_ and _North American Birds_, now is the time to do so. Reports will be accepted via email through June 15. The focus of the quarterly report is on rare birds and other interesting sightings (unusual numbers, interesting behavior, etc). If you are unsure whether your sighting qualifies, please send it to me anyway.

Please send your report to: robin@tropicalaudubon.org

-- At a minimum, the following information is needed for each sighting: SPECIES, NUMBER of INDIVIDUALS, AGE and SEX OF THE BIRD (if known), COLOR MORPH (if applicable), LOCATION (including COUNTY), DATE, OBSERVERS.

-- Include a description or photo of the bird for significant rarities. A report with both photo and description is preferred.

-- Note that not all reports submitted will appear in FFN or NAB.

Thanks very much for your help.
