Thanks for the compliment, Brian-and thanks to Joe for leading the trip and to all the far more competent birders than I who helped me at least point my camera in the general direction of the birds and liguus snails in the photos. Unfortunately, I managed to NOT get a photo of the yellow(golden) warblers that showed up on card sound road-as I eschewed the main group of birders and chased an eye-level pair of these warblers- to no avail.Others with suitable lenses did photograph the bird that posed for the group(sans me), and perhaps some of those shots will be posted here.And the Swallowtail posed the usual problem with photographing a living knuckleball, and I was pleasantly surprised to find some semblance of this butterfly's image amongst those that downloaded from my cf cards last night. Maybe I'll go practice at the butterfly aviary at Fairchild in preparation for next year's trip. Meanwhile, there are no pictures(from me) of the rabbit, the snake or other birds we saw--have to leave something to record next year....

WOWW!! Great documentation of an incredibly rare animal. I need to get back down there ASAP
