Prothonotary Warbler and other migrants at Cape Florida.

Had a very large amount of migrants early this morning at Cape Florida at the No Name Harbor parking area and the nature trail. Five warbler species and Increasing numbers of Northern Parulas and Black-and White Warblers. The best birds of the day were a Prothonotary Warbler at the entrance of the park and a Chuck Will's Widow flushed within the hammock. Black-Whiskered Vireos are still being seen in the park although I only had one today at the lighthouse parking lot.

Last night, plenty of migrant songbirds could be heard flying overhead.

Captain Bill Oconnell scooped a nice male prothonetary out of the ocean last week. One lucky little bird
