This was a great documentary. Watching the sage grouses reminded me that it is a good time of year to look for bobwhites.

Brandon - A good place to look for bobwhites this time of year is on Long Pine Key in ENP. Your better chance of finding a covey is to park at Gates 3 and 4 and slowly work your way westward along the trail. Also try the park trails off of Research Road (2, 2A, 2B). They sometimes call in early AM around the Lucky Hammock area but they're difficult to see.

Robin, thanks for the tips! Cajun Spice and I found a few at the Sparrow Fields this morning along with some feral pigs. It was a great outing. We were planning a Long Pine Key trip for a while to look for bobwhites but I saw there was a recent sighting at the Sparrow Fields so we want to check it out.

Thanks!
