Spent about 45 minutes this am looking unsuccessfully for the Western Tanager. Lots of common warblers - redstart, black and white, parula, worm-eating, black-throated blue, gnatcatcher, yellow-throated - and downy woodpecker, white-crowned pigeon. Got excellent/unequivocal views of yellow-throated vireo and Swainson's thrush and wondered how common these were in our area - your comments appreciated. Thanks!

Yellow-throated Vireo and Swainson's Thrush are both regularly occurring fall migrants in south Florida. A few Yellow-throated Vireos will winter here.
Thank you very much!
