Hello TAS. I'm Rick from TN. I'll be in Coral Gables next weekend visiting my daughter who attends college there. During two previous visits, I have done well with the South FL specialties, but have struck out on the oriole. I'll continue to check ebird, but would appreciate any thoughts on a reliable site for this species at this time. Feel free to reply to me directly if you prefer at atrox17@charter.net. Spot-breasted Orioles are tough to pin down. They seem to be constantly moving around. I get them occasionally in South Miami in the neighborhood between Miller Rd (SW 56 St) to the north and SW 64 St to the south and SW 60 Ave to the east and 65 Ave to the west. There is a park, Brewer Park. on Miller and 62 Ave that you can use as your landmark and to start your search.
