This NW Corner or wedge has been called several things on ebird: Pine trails Park, County Line Road , CLR- Hillsboro, University & Loxahatchee. Many of the good areas are gone for good, bulldosered into new developments (most of the Hillsboro sites). Best way to get there is take University North until it hits Loxahatchee (now able to do) Along the East side of University you could get some shorebirds in the farm land in the upcoming weeks. Will not be as great as last year when the farm was flooded (they do every several years). On Loxahatchee take a left (West) towards the airboat concession and park there. Walking head south along the trail. This first couple hundred feet is good for vireo, warbler, kingbirds, flycatchers. The trail and tree line continues for 1-2 miles (tree line and construction East and canal on the West). In that first third the Yellow-throated and Black & Whites can be found as are Pileated, Red Bellied & Downy woodpeckers. There are also Vireos and Common Yellowthroats and the summer Northern Parula. Continue South just before the break that will get you to Hillsboro Blvd there is the grove that had the Carolina Wrens. Hope this helps.

Today, I also had a lone black and white warbler at Wakodahatchee Wetlands in the tree covered section of paved sidewalk. I was following a pair of downy woodpeckers, and at first quick sighting, almost mistook him for one of them.
