Nesting Shorebird Stewards needed NOW

NESTING SHOREBIRD STEWARDS NEEDED IMMEDIATELY!
Due to the beach being closed a colony of Least Terns created a large nesting colony just south of Deerfield Beach Pier. All went well, until the beach opened. This will be the first weekend for the colony that the beach has been open. NESTING SHOREBIRD STEWARDS NEEDED IMMEDIATELY! There are at least 44 nests and over 20 chicks, some JUST hatched. Please help this colony survive this unexpected onslaught of people. This is the ONLY beach nesting LETE colony in all of SE Florida. An outstanding opportunity to learn and teach how to SHARE THE BEACH. Please contact Ann Wiley 954-805-3355, for info and time coordination. I will be there starting at 10:00a.m. May 30.
