Miami Shores -- Blackburnian Warbler

A check-up on the yard diversity afforded a female-type Blackburnian Warbler amongst the regulars. It fed high in the canopy, allowing for a few lousy photo opportunities with my Canon SLR.

Blackburnian Warblers are one of the earlier migrants to arrive in South Florida in the fall after the initial push of Northern Parulas, Black-and-whites, Yellow-throateds, Prairies, Ovenbirds, American Redstarts, waterthrushes, etc.
