Memorial Service for Jim King

Jim King, recently retired from Miami-Dade Parks and Recreation and a long-time TAS field trip leader, passed away on Saturday. A memorial service for Jim will be held on Sunday, September 16th at Fulford United Methodist Church, followed by a reception at the Greynolds Park Boathouse. Services will begin at 3:00pm.
The family would appreciate if those attending would wear brightly colored clothing, preferably with birds and/or floral patterns on them.

Fulford United Methodist Church is located at 1900 NE 164th St, North Miami Beach, FL 33162.

This is very sad news. Jim was a nice man -- I cannot say that I knew him well but whenever I met him he was a truly kind and good man. My heartfelt condolences to his family.
