I walked the service road on the west side of Matheson yesterday afternoon. I ran into Judd who alerted me to a Swainson's Warbler which I was able to relocate. There were also at least 8 Worm-eating Warblers which was the most common warbler in the woods (coincidentally there were a couple last winter in this woodlot). I also saw a male Black-throated Blue Warbler which seems a bit early and multiple N. Waterthrush and Ovenbirds.

We had a male Black-throated Blue that almost landed on the boat on Saturday. It was the bird of the day, after the tropicbird of course.
