Male PABU still here

When I first realized he was still hanging around after the others had left, he was looking tired and shabby, so I figured he'd arrived from somewhere south of here (South Miami).
I've kept my millet feeder up for him, and I see him almost every day.
He's looking much better now, so I don't know whether he will go north or simply wait for the fall migration.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.

How can you tell he came from South Miami?
I can't. I mean I'm in South Miami and when I first saw him he looked pretty worn out, so I assumed he'd come from a long way further south. (Cuba?)
He's pretty spiffy now, so I'm wondering if he'll head north or stick around till fall.
Sorry, I misread the post. I get it now. Good question, as all the males should be up north.
I guess we wait. He's in no hurry and I'm looking at him, now.
Only a matter of time before some of these winter birds breed here. Look at june, so far, on this board. Painted bunting, peregrine falcon, redstart. Interesting
Hi Penny,
Nice find on the Painted Bunting! Is it possible to come by and see the bird? You can e-mail me here: birderlm@bellsouth.net
Thanks,

He's still here. I think he's not likely to leave at this point.
