Bird Board

Lots of yard bird activity, and a news flash

This morning I stood on my driveway to try and pick up a bird for Bird-A-Day. To my surprise I had plenty of choices, including:

Ovenbird
Yellow-throated Warbler
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
Parula
Eastern Phoebe
Yellow-throated Vireo
and, best of all
American Robin

There were also a lot of the typical stuff like Blue Jays, Cardinals, Grackles, and plenty of warblers I didn't ID to species due to time constraints. I haven't seen the area around my house this active in a long time.

Also, in a recent study, scientist discovered that an exasporated Great White Shark couldn't believe it travelled three miles, only to find a single drop of blood. Talk about disappointment.
