Looking for volunteers...
...to assist with the Southeast Chapter of the Florida Shorebird Alliance!
It is that time of year again, where coastal nesting birds are forced onto rooftops due to lack of nesting habitat. Here in Miami-Dade we have a handful of historic locations and the FSA is looking for people willing to visit these rooftops AT LEAST ONCE a month throughout the nesting season. Here are the locations:
*South Beach Animal Hospital 1874 West Ave, Miami Beach
*Least Tern Nesting Site 1550 W 7th Ct, Hialeah
*Least Tern Nesting Site Tatum Waterway 7900 Tatum Waterway Dr, Miami Beach
*Dadeland Mall 7535 Dadeland Mall, Miami
*Blue Lagoon Business Park 6701-3 NW 7th Street, Miami
*Southern Warehouses 8810-8834 SW 131 St, Miami
*Least Tern Rooftop 240 Crandon Blvd, Key Biscayne
*Key Colony Oceansound Condos Miami-Dade 201-141 Crandon Blvd., Key Biscayne
