Kendall Indian Hammocks Park, 10/17

Yesterday afternoon, I birded Kendal Indian Hammocks Park and found 25 species, down somewhat from what was reported on Facebook from earlier in the day. Best bird, arguably, was a Philadelphia Vireo, seen in oaks along the fence line at the west end of the park. My eBird checklist is at http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S25449638

I had birded earlier in the day with Jack, and we had impressive numbers of species and individuals. We spent 4 hours and couldn't get out of very eastern end of park. Birds were very prevalent early--on arrival at 745 it took almost an hour to go more than 50 yards from the car!
