I saw this bird perched on the lines this evening. I was outside backyard birding and saw this rare sighting. I don't know what this bird can be? Please let me know. Thank you! :) appreciate the help.

Hi Kristina, your bird is a White-crowned Pigeon. Blueish-gray all over with a white crown. It is a native bird and a beautiful one indeed. While still common along the Florida Keys and extreme South Florida mainland, its range has expanded into interior Miami-Dade County and now you can see them regularly around the Kendall-Sunset-Snapper Creek area,

Rock thank you! Though the top of the head was like a salmon color...
I see what you mean when I look at your photo. I am pretty sure this is a lighting effect. Did you see this bird in the late afternoon/early evening?

Yes. I saw it early evening. I think it's a lighting effect because the skies were a salmon color. haha.
I live in the Westchester area in Miami.
