Hey Y'all ;
I found a nice male Connecticut W. this afternoon on the Coastal Hammock Trail . Great sunlit , but brief , looks from 10 feet . put down bike ( I was walking) brought up camera and it had disappeared , not to be seen again ..

Thanks for the heads up Judd. I relocated your connecticut today at the start of the coastal hammock trail (south end) and was able to get some lousy photos I uploaded to ebird.
Glad you found the bird .No way of telling ,but it appears to be the same bird I saw Thurs afternoon . . A Really sharp "crisp" looking male . I first i.d. ed it by naked eye from about 10ft in the afternoon sun ,then got binocs on it ..wow .iridescent like a Painted Bunting or Grackle . Spectacular ..
