HIghland Oaks Park
Today I birder Highland Oaks Park located at 20300 NE 24th Ave, Miami, FL 33180 and I managed to get 57 species for the day.
I had 16 warbler species with the highlights being:
Golden-winged Warbler
Blackburnian Warbler
Magnolia Warbler
Tennessee Warbler
Blackpoll Warbler
Additionally I had a Limpkin and in the exotics department Spot-breast Orioles and Monk Parakeets.
I also had Swainson's;'s and Gray-cheeked Thrush and one Eastern Wood-Pewee.
Absent today were the Nanday Parakeets and the Pied-billed Grebe.

I forgot the mention the two House Finches that were also seen today.
Pretty nice day. Good time to go out looking for Golden-winged. They seem to be around in good numbers throughout Florida right now.
The Golden-winged Warbler was seen on the eastside of the joggers circle in a tree by a bench. Just look around in that area if you decide to go this was the second day it was seen there. I would also like to add that no birds were injured during this process.
