Baptist Hospital area
Highlights: Check the hospital grounds, as well as the neighborhood north of the hospital (across North Kendall Drive, between SW 87th and SW 91st Avenues) for White-crowned Pigeon, Monk, White-winged, Yellow-chevroned and Mitred Parakeets, Red-whiskered Bulbul, Hill Myna and Spot-breasted Oriole. During winter, watch overhead for Short-tailed Hawk.

Directions: Baptist Hospital is located on North Kendall Drive (SW 88th Street), 1.5 miles west of US 1, or 1 mile east of the Don Shula Expressway (SR 874).

You could also check eBird reports for the birds you are looking for. Good Luck!

Try looking for the Orioles in Miami Springs, there's usually a few there.

Spot-breasted Orioles have been very reliable this entire season in the area across the street from the dog park at Markham Park in Plantation. The entrance to the park is off state route 84, just west of where the Sawgrass Expressway and I-595 meet and where westbound Alligator Alley begins. Take exit 1 off I-595 west.

Spot-Breasted orioles are at Plantation Preserve Linear Park Broward Fl the past several days. As a bonus also Cowbirds. Mainly off of the Indian Mound.

Cowbirds as a bonus is an interesting concept. Keep in mind that every cowbird you see represents 3-4 warblers, vireos, thrushes, etc. that you, or anyone else, will never see.

Well said . and nice perspective comment Steve Siegle.
I observed the extensive Cowbird trapping program around the Kirtland's Warbler breeding areas in the early '70s .. {hopefully continuing} . Kirtland's seem too be doing better ,, Cowbirds . well . they seem to be doing fine as well .
nature is .

I recently read that it is continuing. A similar project at Fort Hood TX
helps the Black-capped Vireo. Hopefully that one is still strong, too.
