Bird Board

Heads-up for Red-breasted Nuthatch

It's truly a Red-breasted Nuthatch invasion year with birds moving southward into SC and GA as early as September. Two birds were seen today in Pinellas County so we should look out for an "overshoot." These little birds are usually vocal with a distinct sound like a toy tin horn.

You forget they would have to get through the dome. I'd be looking in Broward, or even Monroe. Dade? I wouldn't count on it.

I thought that the Fea's Petrel shattered the dome!

Didn't shatter it, just skirted the edge a bit!
