Groove-bled Ani & Buff-bellied Hummingbird
While birding with my son, Nick, we saw the Groove-billed Ani and a White-tailed Kite at Kendall-Miami Executive Airport. The Ani was seen at 5:30 p.m. in the Burma Reed and Castor Bean about 50 yards past the fenced area on the west side of the canal. The Buff-bellied Hummingbird was seen fed din in a Pavia bush at Castellow Hammock. A female Rufous Hummingbird was seen on her favorite perch, a Powder-puff (Mimosa) tree. Our celebratory libation was Samuel Adams Hop scape. Life is good.............

Groove-billed Ani. I hate spellcheck!
I thought it was the name of a new beer you'd found...
