A few of us searched for the Ani this morning starting at daybreak with no luck.

Toe: could you tell me precisely where at the airport the Ani had been seen? I spent quite a while today tryin to find an area that had high grass where the Ani might be found.
Was he spotted near the Air Museum and the Bay off Pigs Monument? or somewhere else?
I am here in Miami for a few more days and would love to know of other specialties nearby.

The Ani was seen outside the airport on the west side. Drive down 136 St. until you pass the airport at 157 Ave. Just before the light there is a turnoff to your right where you can park. There is a brushy area leading north along the west side of the canal. The Ani has been seen a few hundred yards north in the vicinity of a small, fence enclosure with a red pole inside. Look from that location north along the edge of the brush.
