Fox 29 WFLX TV reported this very rare bird in Ding Darling refuse on Sanibel Island. (www.wflx.com/story/31365029/great-white-pelican-rare) there is a picture with this story,

the article stated the bird was first seen on 2/28, viewed for 2 more days and no further sitings. I hope the bird is seen again so what others can view it.
