Yesterday a couple of friends and I drove up to Venus, Florida for Thanksgiving. On the drive up I told them I had never seen a Florida Scrub Jay. Once there we took a walk around our friends' yard and lo and hold one flew into a tree and later on some equipment, and I was able to get pictures with my phone. The picture above was taken by my Cheryl, who got the photo. I copied and pasted the photo jpeg. My friends in Venus said several frequent their bird feeder and that all have been banded. I hope y'all can see it.
