Evergreen Cemetery (12/3): BT Gray and Blackpoll

In addition to the continuing Black-throated Gray Warbler, I also had a Blackpoll Warbler at Evergreen Cemetery on December 3rd. It is likely a late migrant but a good reminder that long distance migrants are still passing through our area. Other 'good' birds included Cape May Warbler and Ruby-crowned Kinglet. Kinglets seem more common in southeast Florida this winter than they have been in years!

Yes, There was a Ruby-crowned Kinglet at Castellow Hammocks Park not long ago...in the Pavonia... the same shrub as the Buff-bellied hummer likes...
