Had enough election trauma? Then consider yourself lucky you don't live in the Great White North where an apparently unpopular election of the ornithological sort has stirred controversy. And is "Professor Bird" his real name? I can't seem to find an answer on twitter-the source of everything important these dyas...

Good article. Interesting that they mentioned Mexico. Their national bird choice isn't without controversy. Although the Golden Eagle is shown on the Mexican Flag, many there will tell you the Crested Caracara is their official bird.
