eBird alert from Alan Moss with diagnostic photos of Zenaida Dove at Long Key SP in the Keys:
"Originally found yesterday at approximately 3:45 pm, but was unable to get pictures. Returned this morning and relocated it after scouring the park for 2.5 hours. Both sightings on lower half of Golden Orb Trail foraging on the sandy trail in relatively open areas."
1st Florida record in several years. Documentation to FOSRC would be excellent.

That's a nice find, the photos leave no doubt.
This is incredible. Weren't they known to be extinct in the keys? Wow...
Dipped on the bird this afternoon but will be back in the morning to try again.
