I lead the monthly birdwalk this morning at the Deering Estate and migrants are finally beginning to reappear along Biscayne Bay in small numbers. The biggest surprise was a large flock of Cedar Waxwings that came from the SW and continued NW once they noticed the ocean. We also had our first Blue-winged Teals making their way north along the bay.
