I think it's important to note that a visiting birder from PA, who visited Crandon Park at 11 AM on Monday, parked his vehicle in front of the Visitor's Center and had his car broken into and his luggage taken - according to his eBird report. You wouldn't think it would happen there, but... Don't leave anything you want to keep inside the basic section of your vehicle. Place it in the trunk! It needs to be out-of-view. Just sayin'
