Cool south Florida birds

On Tuesday I rode my bike down the L-31W canal that is just before entering Everglades National Park north side of 9336. If you ride north about a mile, you will run into a water control structure with a huge Strangler Fig on the east side of the road across from the structure. In this location on the utility wires and on the larger Strangler Fig were:
Tropical Kingbird, two of them, one called.
Scissor-tailed Flycatcher about four.
Western Kingbird at least one.
Eastern Phoebe
Indigo Bunting
Numerous warblers in the Strangler Fig which is in heavy fruit. On Thursday of this week the two American Flamingos were present in Snake Bight near Gibby Point. On Saturday the 24th. we had the American Flamingos as well as Mr. Titus's Variegated Flycatcher! On Wednesday of this week, we had not only the Variegated Flycatcher but the Northern Wheatear in the keys! The Northern Wheatear is being seen at the beginning of the Channel #2 bridge which is about mile marker #73. There is a larger parking area here on the bay-side, the bird is being seen on the rocks below the metal fence as well as in the hammock area walking towards the bridge.

I have posted several pictures of all of these great birds seen in the last week or so.
