I'm looking into doing a backcountry camping trip and was checking out the Everglades Exploration Network forum and ran into this picture taken by Juan Estevez at Rabbit Key and figured it would be cool to share.
I've never seen birds segregated this way before (for all I know it could be a common occurrence). Is it an unusual sight? Also...American Oystercatchers so far South in such large numbers? Mind you, this is from 2010!

I just realized this is Rabbit Key up near Chokoloskee which is closer to where all the e-bird sightings are. I thought this was Little Rabbit Key in Florida Bay (where there are less than a handful of sightings).
