Today my son and I found an adult Chipping Sparrow in Long Pine Key Campground in Everglades National Park. The bird was seen singing and feeding along the road by camp site Loop J 51-55. We found this bird while trying to find birds to add to our June Challenge list. You have to park outside the campground and walk in about a quarter mile to reach Loop J 51-55. Mosquitoes and Deer flies are present. I added some cell phone through binocular pictures which aren't great.
