For those who might not be aware, after yesterday and last night's storms it has been suggested to me by someone who knows more than I do that today would be a good day to stop by coastal parks for stalled migratory birds, including Connecticut Warblers.
I know I'll be going. Hope it's helpful.

Hi Eloso and other readers:
After a dull winter and spring in Flamingo we were looking forward to birding here following the big weather event, and we finally had some migrants in and around a fruiting strangler fig in front of the visitor center:
Magnolia Warbler
Red-eyed Vireo
Red-breasted Grosbeak
Orchard Oriole
Cape May Warbler
Etc.
Strong SW winds (preceding the N winds) caused flooding in the walk-in area of the campground, drawing in lots of shorebirds, including four white-rumped sandpipers.
Bob
Great to hear from you, Bob, and glad you had some enjoyable sightings down there!
