C-357 Sparrow Fields -- OPEN

The C-357 Sparrow Fields are open again for birding. However, they are no longer the scrubby fields that we remember of yesteryear. The impoundment is now covered in a couple feet of water. American Alligators and various common wetland species were around, while the non-flooded areas on the opposite side of the raised path had Eastern Towhee, White-tailed Kite, and Northern Bobwhite. Still a great place to bird.
